Ini Oguntola is a musician, engineer, and AI researcher based in New York City.
Before that he completed his PhD in machine learning at CMU, advised by Katia Sycara. His dissertation "Theory of Mind in Multi-Agent Systems" focused on adopting psychological concepts of mental-state inference to facilitate interpretable multi-agent reinforcement learning.
Before that he was a student at MIT, graduating in 2019 with an EECS master’s degree concentrating in AI, a B.S. in Computer Science, and a B.S. in Mathematics. He has also spent time at Google and Microsoft Research.
Ini is also an active musician and composer, working mostly in hip-hop, jazz, and R&B.
